  4. Good Evening, and thanks for the welcome.......I have a feeling after loads of googling the last past 48 hrs, that you and i may well be discussing a particular issue i have with my newly sourced 848.....Sadly i have not been able to ride it as yet, i have 2 faults...one i have managed to resolve by chopping out a connector and replacing temporarily with bullet connectors, bike kept cutting out dying on ride home :0(...The other a nightmare, which i need guidance on EMTP6570[1].JPG

  5. Welcome Dave

  6. I have that dreaded radiator leak, i hit the floor when i see the price, but after googling as mentioned i see that EBAY (China) do Rads for less then £100....But have not seen many posts that were happy with those purchases if anyone actually has....

  10. I am going the 'get repaired route' on mine but a few have had the Chinese reds, one I know for 3 years - probably better than the OEM as they all seem to fail...

    Welcome Millsy :):upyeah:

  11. Hi...Thanks for the welcome.....:upyeah:
I may well still go down the repair route, but my Rad does not look like it has much life left in it anyway, and this from ebay just seems to good to be true, maybe that's the problem.......

  12. Chinky rads are fine. I have one and have done for a couple of years now. The OEM item is approx £600 and prone to failure, the far east version about a 10th of the price and has no such issues.

  13. Welcome

As above either repair of go Chinese copy route. Don't fit a rad guard if you are doing track work, many suspect that may be a case as clearance at the front and under heavy braking fouls it and busts it.

  16. If it's any help we've fitted a couple of Chinese rads to customers bikes (one to a zx7r and the other to a Honda Blackbird) at my mates garage where I help out now and again and they've been no problem at all, thought they were well made and good value tbh........ Welcome from another newbie:upyeah:
