Last year the Easter Horsham meet was gone now the Bristol Italian Day is off. Shame as they were both great events and a good start to the season. Always a good night out in Bristol on the Friday, then a night somewhere on the way home made a great weekend.
whats the reason given? horsham was that 'it was too successful'.....wonder if bristol trot out the same guff too!
ThT is a shame, always a good day out. Council have shot there selves in the foot, gone from getting an income, getting greedy to getting nothing, twits. All the cafes etc that opened around the area seemed to love the income, doubt they will be happy.
Yep they get greedy and just put people off. Helmsley in North Yorks used to get hundreds of bikes every night and at weekends during the "season" till they decided bikes should pay for parking in the square. No-one goes there any more. Lost revenue to all the cafe, bars and restaurants.
