Where were you last year ? The FHO BMW was allowed to fit the carbon wheels off the homologated bike at the TT. The NW200 organaisers decided at the last minute, the carbon wheels were not allowed for the NW200. Faye told them to FO and withdrew Hickie's and Brooks' bikes. Not surprised one bit if Faye holds a grudge. Andy
It’s about the only two wheeled racing I make very little effort to watch, even behind aussie sbk in chez red, especially after the various cancellations and uncertainty. It’s always seemed a bit point and squirty too although I’m sure it’s a lot more technical than that. Where FHO the only team with carbon wheels or did others comply and carry on racing?
I watched it when TB21 was winding down his career (and still doing ok) and more recently his son. I have it on permanent record same as AMA. It’s ok some of the tracks are a bit tight but the Aussie comms always raises a smile.
Shame. Doesn’t seem an unreasonable request to lash the same set of wheels on a bike as everyone else but I’m sure there’s more to it than that
Always seemed a 2 horse race (Herfoss and Maxwell) when I tuned in in '22. And the tracks were flat. And barely any fans that I could see. But it was a bike fix when nothing else was on
