Didnt these use to destroy balancer shafts when used 'enthusiastically'??

 

I used to commute to work on one from Stourhead to Wilton every day

 

There can be worse place than south of France to ride a bike :wink: Especially at this time of the year...

 

I had a standard 500 years ago, great bike, right up to the point it threw a rod.
