  1. NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD NOW SOLD

Garage clearout has resulted in me offering for sale my Cagiva Alazzurra 350 Ducati Pantah replica.
This bike was originally manufactured by Cagiva in 1985 and then imported into the UK at some point, date unknown and is currently not registered with the DVLA.
However I am a member of the Ducati Owners Club and have an official dating certificate to assist with the UK registration process.
I purchased the bike in 1999 but it has sat in my garage ever since and really needs to go so that I can get my old Morris Minor in for some winter maintenance.
I have this week fitted a new battery, iridium spark plugs and fresh fuel and it eventually started and idled ok, however I am sure that the carbs could do with an overhaul.
Known work to be done prior to an mot would be fork rechroming or replacement, front brake calipers overhaul and possible tyre change due to age.
Condition is good/fair and viewing highly recommended.
Bike is located in Gamlingay, South Cambs.
Currently on eBay at £2000 but price negotiable as always
    Happy answering any questions/queries

  2. Nice that and an affordable Pantah experience. GLWS

  3. Looking good.

    Good luck with your sale.

  4. Delightful and so original, can't believe it won't fetch 2K with ease. It's a sad thing that Ca Gi Va never achieved household name status like Ducati. Even when you tell people that Cagiva saved Ducati at one point, it still makes no impression.

  5. Fingers crossed that it sells and the original Pantah tank, seat, fairing and clocks are worth quite a bit on their own anyway

  6. Oooooh! A project. I'd love that but at the rate I get through jobs I'd probably still be looking at it in 10 years time. :( Great buy for someone though GLWS.

  7. Yes, nice little project for someone and I should have used the word “fettling” in the advert :D

  8. Oh that’s lovely, just what I need, if only there wasn’t three Ducati’s and a couple of old VWs in the garage!

  9. Well, how many Ducati’s are “enough” ? go on, you know that you want it :grinning::upyeah:
    I have just sold my 2002 S4 Monster and now purchased a 2005 ST3

  10. Look, you’re not helping, I’m trying to talk myself out of it!

  11. Ah gowaaan you know it’s too good an opportunity to miss

  12. TFFT....!

......I was very tempted and had PMd Astrauk with a view to making an offer if it didn't sell today; but I can tell you I was pretty nervous about getting it registered when there seemed to be very little paperwork or history (no disrespect intended, Astrauk).

The last time I had 'one of those' situations, I had to end up breaking the bike for spares.

  13. Hi Al, I had a chap view the bike this morning and he had exactly the same concerns as you and was going away to think about it.
However as luck would have it I took a call prior to his visit and this chap just wants the bike for private display purposes and has no intention of putting it on the road, bam, sold :upyeah::D
I also thought about keeping it as I saw a UK registered 350 Alazzurra appear on Facebook Marketplace on Friday and at a reasonable price. I could then have swapped the Pantah bits over and have a road legal replica without the DVLA registration hassles
