1260 Number Plate Snapped Off

How? I'm guessing that the part above the plate has had an impact at some stage, it's a reasonably substantial component IIRC.

 

My guess is the bike was letting its feelings be known.

Get that Evotech tail tidy ordered, will be here tomorrow

I've used them a few times, the plates have a black backing which is good!

 

I just looked, and last one I bought was from morethanplates_uk on eBay, their 7x5 'show plate'. I got it without border and tag line, legal font, just smaller. I've never had any problems with that.

 

I just walk in my local motor factors and they print them up. £100 fine if you get a snotty copper stop and measure you up. I talk from experience.

 

Try finding a copper nowadays, let alone one that gives a shit about a numberplate!

I run a small letterbox style plate on my bikes. To date Ive had 3x£60 fines and 2x£100. In a timespan of 20yrs. I make that my vanity tax of £19/yr.

 

Same here. So far so good… but I live far from the smoke….
