Numbers Etched/engraved On Crankcases.

  1. Hi all, I have a 748E and it has two matching numbers etched/engraved on the underside of crank cases. I am wondering if anyone else has the same and knows why? I assume it suggests the engine has been stripped/repaired BUT don't know so it's over to you knowledgeable folk.

  4. Even my engine has them, number 2. Is it always number 2 or random depending on what day it was?
