  1. ok I am thinking of putting a number on my seat cowl, how do people decide what number to use?
    Lucky number?
    Birthday?

  4. Depends on the bike, if it's a vintage or period bike, e.g; MHR, or Paul Smart rep a number can be ok, but otherwise, no.

  5. 63983009187734562871 has always been my lucky number. I'd go for that, it's been good for me. :) :upyeah:

  8. How about Pi?

Might need a longer swing arm though, which will slow the steering somewhat ...

  9. Is yours the metallic red modified one? If so no number, only really for race rep's not custom/modded bikes in my opinion.

  14. If you were ever accused of racing on the public highway (a serious offence), having a big racing number displayed on the bike would not help your defence.

  15. Cop cars have big numbers on the roof, like NASCAR. I might mention that to Officer Dibble, next time I'm pulled for racing, and having a "big racing number" displayed on my bike is used as evidence to accuse me.

  16. Do judges' and magistrates' minds really work that way?

I mean, I won't be surprised or disappointed ... it's just nice to have confirmation of what I already suspect is true.

  17. Hmm, my bike's fairings are fire engine red ... will the magistrate accuse me of thinking I'm riding a fire engine ...?

  18. My view is always it’s your bike so put whatever number or whatever on it that you want, not what anyone else thinks you should.
