me, my father in law and a friend of ours are coming to the ring early September for probably three nights.. not solely for the track but also as it's fairly central to other places we'd like to go aka for the surrounding roads, b500 & autobahns etc.. Any tips or anything worth seeing, also we shall be looking for somewhere to stay, so any recommendations of a nice place to stay with safe bike garage etc would be perfect. Regards, Adam
Don't stay at the Dorint. And don't believe the website that the circuit opens for laps at 05:30. They mean 17:30.
Cochem is a decent town to stay in and there's a few hotels with secure parking. The town itself has decent restaurants and it's a good place to visit the ring and other places.
I have guest rooms , halfway from the Ring to Cochem. I have a thread about it on the forum. I will look for it and post it here.
Here you go have a look and pm me if you are interested https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/nurburgring-eifel-accomodation-offered.51764/ Royal with Cream stayed here for a week a short while ago. Loved it.
