1299 Oberon Clutch Slave

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by BladeRR8, Sep 24, 2017.

  1. Anyone fitted a OBERON Clutch Slave cylinder to their Panigale ?

    Make much of a difference?

When in traffic getting to the twisities I'm finding the clutch heavy and wondering if this mod will make a noticeable improvement.

  2. Cheers for your help Pete superb info.

  3. Don't bother

  4. Really? You should try something like a 916 that’ll show you how painful the clutch is

  5. You fitted on to a 1299?

  6. I got this back from an enquiry to Oberon

The original OEM piston is 27mm in diameter.
We machine ours at 29mm. We could go more but feel that engaging neutral and selecting first gear stars to be be compromised too much.
Expect around 15 - 20% decrease in effort to pull the lever.

  7. 899 which made very little difference and the standard 1299 is a lot lighter clutch than mine

  8. Surprised the 1299 has a light clutch.

    Thanks for the info

  9. Used them quite a few times.....last few hypers and my 525 supermoto....all very good.
