Doing some bits n bobs on my 1199 through the winter and was wondering about swapping out the original slave cylinder for an Oberon replacement, anyone replaced there’s, is it worth it.
Replaced the slave cylinder on my monster 1200s with an Oberon unit,very impressed with the quality and lighter pull at the bar,lifetime guarantee as well
Replaced the OEM with Oberon on my M1200R and tbh i didn't notice that much difference. I have done this mod on my gen 2 Aprilia RSV 1000 and plan to do the same on my 999s but with a CNC racing item.
Fitted an Oberon after the brand new 1 year old Ducati slave died, the original was changed on warranty. But I did not want to take a chance, fitted the Oberon 2 years ago, lighter pull no problems so far.
Thanks for the replies, fitted the Oberon slave this afternoon no time to test it but feels smooth at the lever, hopefully take her out tomorrow for a quick test.
