I've noticed lately that my 999S tends to stall sometimes while waiting at junctions or at traffic lights, it always restarts on the button but it never used to happen, and its more embarrassing than anything else, with people looking at the shiny loud Ducati only for me to stall it in front of them ... any idea's anyone?...its going in for a belt service in the new year i'll mention it to my mech.
A problem that has been known about since launch. Just Google 'Ducati 999 Stalling'. A good tech will know how to solve this. Just mention TPS, CO setting and throttle body balancing.
Mine occasionally does this when slowing down. When I blip the throttle to move down the gearbox sometimes it will stall and sometimes it won't. I thought of this as just one of those 'Ducati' things we all talk about. Always restarts and idle is fine. One things for sure is that ive never been successful with a bump start. It'll just lock the rear wheel.
