Hi Folks, not specifically a Ducati related question but i guess its pertinent to any bike really...i am about to buy and fit an Odyssey PC680 AGM battery to my old Laverda, but i gather this battery isn't compatible with all trickle chargers, if any of you lot have one fitted which charger do you use or recommend?
AGM batteries require 14.6v – 14.8v when performing a full charge from a state of discharge, whereas standard lead acid batteries need 13.8v – 14.4v, which is what most chargers supply, not the 14.6v – 14.8v that AGM needs. I use a Noco Genius 5 which will charge flooded lead acid, AGM and Lithium batteries.
