Is there a trick to get the standard plastic OEM bar end plugs out without butchering them? Bike is a 748, originals have never been out and I don't want to screw them up unless absolutely necessary. I need to fit some proper bar ends as it has turned out (on the 999 at least) to be the best place to mount a sports camera fixing clamp.
Let them soak in a cup of hot water first for a couple of minutes. If you do knacker one one, let me know as I have a couple spare. Ian
They came out with a plumbers water pump pipe wrench as my pliers were just not doing it, slightly damaged but useable. Left side was easy, right side was well stuck, it just needed the right mix of torque and pull. Thanks all
