1299 Oem Tyre Pressures

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by ResB1299, May 28, 2016.

  1. Can anyone tell me what the correct tyre pressures Ducati/Pirelli recommend for the OEM tyres. The manual state 2.3bar front and 2.1bar rear!

I currently have them set to - 2.1 Front and 2.2 rear.

    Thanks in advance. :upyeah:

  2. My local Ducati dealer told me , European tyres , 31 front 34 rear psi. I've had these pressures on all of the ducatis I owned and found them fine.

  3. I run 32f 34r

    Think manual says 34f 36r

  4. My manual says 30.5R and 33.5F lol

  5. Italians lol

  7. I find 32 front and 32 rear perfect for me.

Got my tyre repaired the other day and they put 38 in the rear and the handling was awful. Reduced to 34, still not the same, 32 is definitely the pressure for me and my Pani.

  8. Actually have yet to check tire pressure, next project :)

  9. 1299 manual says
    Front tyre pressure:
2.3 bar (rider only) - 2.5 bar (rider and passenger). Rear tyre pressure:
2.1 bar (rider only) - 2.5 bar (rider and passenger).

    959 manual says
    Use on the road
    Front tyre pressure:
    2.5 bar - 2.55 kg/sq. cm. Rear tyre pressure:
    2.5 bar - 2.55 kg/sq. cm.

    Use on the track

    Front tyre pressure:
    2.3 bar - 2.35 kg/sq. cm. Rear tyre pressure:
    2.1 bar - 2.14 kg/sq. cm.

i use supercorsa SP on my 959 so run mine around 33f and 31r
