  1. I hope he rocks all over the world for ever. I know they might not have been the most creative band, but definitely one of the best atmosphere ever!!

    RiP Rick

  2. R.I.P. Rick :(

  3. Roll over lay down, Rick

  4. Rossi was on the BBC breakfast couch a couple of weeks ago with the replacement basis and refused to be questioned on Rick's wellbeing, only that he (Rick) wanted to release some news when he was ready.
I grew up on lots of Quo and although never a fan would find myself doing a bit of head banging :)

    RIP

  5. I see that 2016 hasn't finished pulling punches yet.

    RIP

  6. There's already a thread running in the obituaries section.

  7. Sorry...didn't know we had one......very sad.

  8. Combine or scrap me.

When I entered the title it should show similar threads to prevent duplication......NADA.
Hell T this needs looking at.

  9. I guess a lot of us on here are of the age one is necessary

  10. Sad day.
Survives two massive heart attacks and throat cancer and then dies from an infection in his shoulder.

Just heard on Sky news that Quo had more UK chart success than Queen or the Rolling Stones. Didn't know that. I wasn't an ardent fan but Rick and Quo were part of the sound track to my youth. Rocking all over the world will forever take me back to school discos and trying to cop off with girls on youth club night. Happy days, happy sounds. Cheers Rick.

  12. Yeah I saw that - I thought his reaction was a bit short at the time - now we know why

  13. Really sad news. Like most on here I grew up listening to Status Quo too. And again like most wasn't a massive fan, but they knew how to appeal to the masses and knew how to party!

    RIP Rick. :(

2016 has been a bitch for celebs.
