Looking to replace plastic item with alloy version seems ducati have 2 thread sizes for these 20mm and 22mm so I measured mine with a vernier about 21mm ???? anybody have any idea what size fits a 2002 ssie
I think they should be a 22mm thread, but I'm too d*mn cold to go outside and measure mine......... .......besides in the cold it will have shrunk......
Maybe that's why they make a 20mm? But both mine (916 & M900) are 22mm as was an ST2 engine that I had. The OD of the threads on a 22mm thread will measure a little under 22mm, similarly a 20mm would measure under 20mm, as such I would think yours is a 22mm. Perhaps 'fluff' it a little before measuring...
