1200 Enduro Oil Level

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Edward Cunliffe, Sep 30, 2019.

  1. Why doesn't my 2016 MTSE appear to have any (upper and lower) oil level marks?

  2. The all use the same side cover with the marks beside the sight glass

  3. I'll have another look then!

  4. That's definitely not a 2016 Multistrada side cover. That's all I can say for sure

  5. Odd ...

  6. Found 'em. There's a plastic cover on my cover. Enduro part I assume. Or aftermarket bit perhaps?

  7. I didnt think any of them came with casing covers as standard.

does it have any markings on it to say who makes it ?

  8. Who knows, I bought it second hand ... I'm guessing it's an R&G cover from a bit of googling, no maker's marks on it at all.

But I'm happy to have found my oil level marks at least, didn't even realise there was a cover on it!

  9. Definately needs oil if its stood upright, never measure on side-stand.

  10. Ha ha, thanks, it's on the side stand. There's definitely oil in there somewhere.

  11. Good show. I did scratch my head for a moment.
