Yep , oil level markers ...... it always puzzled me . They put Max and Min marks in the casting , then they seemed to have changed their minds , and put a nasty-ass metal sticker in between them ... ... " go figure " , as the Americans say .
Generally the need for info' stickers here, there and everywhere, was because of the need to combat the American habit of legal action to gain recompense for their own stupidity. It's because of the Americans that we no longer have seats that can be flipped up/locked down with a key. Of course not all Americans are stupid, but the stupid ones have lumbered us with the "Stupidity Culture" that we now labour under. Steve R
