Oil Temp Sensor On 998 Engine

  1. hi all
Recently fitted a digital dash to the bike. It shows:
    Fuel pressure (sensor sorted)
    Oil pressure (sensor sorted)
    Water temp (uses original sensor)
Oil temp. still have to sort out the best place and type of sensor for the oil temp job. I've read up on how some people use a std water temp sensor for this.
Has anyone fitted an oil temp sensor? And if so, can you offer any help please?

    Ian

  5. Hi mate is your oil pressure switch in the oil cooler line??

  6. IMG_3610.JPG IMG_3612.JPG No. I think that's where the oil temp sensor will be going though. In a T piece.
This is the oil pressure sensor. Goes right at the bottom on the clutch cover like the rs bikes.
