A mod I've been considering is how to get rid of the oil temp wire into the crankcase, a purely aesthetic one with a blank plug replacing it (Its the only wire left going across that side of my engine). This only leaves me with where to re-plug the temprature sensor, on a hypermotard they have a plug on the actual cooler so a replacement one of those could be considered, - a bit of a pricey option. Is there an 'inline' type of fitting that could go , say between the oil line and cooler that would have a sensor fitted or a socket for the rerouted oe sensor to plug into?. Anyone actually done this or suggest any solution?

Thanks. Thats the sort of thing I had been thinking about, I haven't got as far as checking the specs of the bits I may need and whether the fittings will all work but at least I know there are adaptors out there.
