Old termi baffles- 848

  1. I was advised yesterday by koen's mate lj, who did all the work on his 1199 and seems o know his stuff to cut the ends off my baffles. This is to prevent the carbon from burning.

I have to admit, the cans sleeve were very hot, particularly in the area where the end of the baffle starts. Apparently the baffles in the new termis don't have the domed end cap that the old ones do.

anyone done this, or think of any reason not to?

    cheers

  5. No Andy, still quieter than no baffles (for trackdays if needed), and the new style baffles are like that anyway.

  6. Cheers. Just got to get the buggers out now. Hacksaw ready. It sort of makes sense. I'm sure I read some posts on ducatisti about cans getting burnt selves etc.
