... I haven't received what I ordered. I ordered a second hand book, Seventh Decimate: The Great God's War Book One by Stephen R Donaldson from a book store. What I have received, instead of the standard paperback, is an "Uncorrected Bound Proof: Not for sale or quotation". Have I been sent something rather more valuable than what I ordered? Or should I complain to the seller? I've made a mistake before, when I bought a faulty vinyl pressing of a King Crimson album and returned it to the shop, only to be told years later that I robbed myself of a true collectible (valuable) curiosity. Anyone have any experience of "uncorrected bound proofs"?
Oh. Google is my friend. My friend tells me the thing may be quite valuable. All I wanted was a damned book to read, nothing is ever simple is it?
I got the commentary to the book. Very confusing, some of those boys don't really speak English I reckon.
