  2. 49, 9yr+ ncd, garaged, glos postcode. Multi New was £330, s1000r £520!!!

I looked at panigale r, 20k bike, all online quotes £900 plus

  3. 49, 4 bikes on one policy (hyper 1100, z1000, ktm525 and rsv4 factory), 6 points (probably banned soon mind you), Bristol, 9ys no claims

    780 quid

Just thought it put mine in for a bit of balance...

  4. I’m £400 for the 1299S

  5. Scrambler 1100 Sport and Panigale 959 FC & £250xs - £425

  6. £440 seems about average, my 1199 is about £450.

  7. Just for comparison, 50, £330 for my 998S, no mods and 9 points.

  8. When you say ‘quoted’, is that to renew an existing policy or an internet quote for new business ? For new business I find it often pays to talk to a person like the people at BeMoto or Ramasis. My V4 Speciale came in at £670. Andy

  9. !00%, MCE wanted £5000 to add my HP4 to my existing policy... :joy:

Oddly enough, they didn't get my business. Now all my bikes are with BeMoto, and to give them their dues they work pretty hard to try and give a good quote.

  11. I've just had a play on compare the meerkat to see what would happen to my insurance if I do chop in the Panigale for a Diavel 1260S.........together with the Scrambler 1100 Sports the best I've got without really trying is £568 fully comp with £500 xs and no voluntary excess either. I'm sure I could get it below the £500 mark with a bit of effort.

  12. If you make the value of the bike under £20k it makes a huge difference to the insurance premium

  18. Just got my renewal from Ducati insurance. I am 56 10 years no claims, but dropped the bike in 2016, no claims protected and unaffected. Live London and cover normally around 350, now given 980!!!!! What is going out ?

  19. Yes, that is to renew with BeMoto

Seems the price given is about right

  20. Your no claims protection doesn't stop them loading the premium because of an incident , i had a police van hit my parked transit mirror, no damage to his and not worth the hassle of claiming for my cracked mirror but because he had reported it, and even though no claim was made it went down as an incident and put all my insurances up
