I keep losing these damn things, however much loctite I put on. The heat seems to knacker the loctite, and then in classic Ducati fashion it just shakes the bolts out completely. Could I fit drilled hex head bolts and safety wire them together? I've never used safety wire before but it occurrs that that might be a solution. Any thoughts cognoscenti? RW
Heat is used to soften Loctite so I'm not surprised it doesn't work. I don't see any reason you can't safety wire them.
