I should say that at this stage I am just gauging interest. I am contemplating selling my Akrapovic full system and fitting an alternative. Yes I know.....mad as that may seem. It has been fitted to the bike and the engine was started once and run for about 5 mins since then but the bike has never actually been ridden, so ostensibly it's as new. The pipework has not even started to turn blue yet (as is normal after it's been installed and used for a while). I can confirm that the Akra map has NOT been uploaded onto the bike, so if you fitted the system to your own V4, you would be eligible by a Ducati dealer to have it uploaded, since my VIN number will not have been allocated to the exhaust. Currently these systems retail new from Ducati for around £4500 in the UK, less if you buy from Europe but you will get slammed for import duty and tax, so no real savings to be had going down that route. Ebay UK sees them sell for around £4100 or so. There are a myriad of pictures on my build thread if you want to see it in more detail (V4 - Project V4s Unica | Ducati Forum), and I still have the original box and packaging plus the installation manual. The only changes are that the carbon heat shield on the RH silencer and the main carbon heat shield were professionally clear coated in a UV heat resistant lacquer (again plenty of pics on the thread of these). I am asking £3825.00 + courier costs (or if someone wishes to collect the system they can, from sunny Norfolk). As yet it is still on the bike, so would require a few hours for me to remove it. I should add that this system should be compatible with all 2018-2020 V4 models, but beyond that you would need to check with Ducati if it will fit post 2020 production bikes (see part number in the thread title). The maps they upload are year specific so they are unaffected. Would rather sell it to a forum member preferably. As I said, I am just putting out feelers, since in the current climate it's not exactly a necessary expense, so if there's understandably little or no interest, I will probably sell it online in due course. Owing to the price and time/complexity involved in removing, it, I will probably seek a security deposit before I embarked on opening the toolbox. Just to confirm that this system is for 2018-2020 models. It may well fit on later bikes but there are subtle differences in the full system Akrapovic sell for later bikes, one being that the EVAP canister is no longer removed as part of the installation and any associated hardware to accommodate its removal is not included in the box. Since this system was purchased when I bought the bike, it does include all the hardware to remove both the Exhaust Valve and the EVAP canister as well as all the necessary connector plugs, revised fuel breather lines, ABS bracket, purge line cap, Hellerman ties, clips etc, as well as all the supplied hardware to mount the exhaust itself.
