Panigale V4s

  1. Hi

I am new on here and just in the process of stripping my brand new V4S and turing it into a track bike (GULP)

Has anyone else on here done this and if so does the ECU throw any faults up with the lights etc being disconnected ?

I Have not even run this bike yet so i am not sure what lights do what on the Dash . But the Yellow engine managment light comes on and stays on .

This may be due to me being a tool and firing it up withh out the air sensor that fits into the headlight cowl in the new air ducts .

I have since connected it but it is still showing a fault !!

Is this something that will clear or is it a dealer Job??

Its on a lorry to spain in 2 weeks and i don't want it going in to limp mode or anything daft !!

If you can help it would be much appreciated

  2. Yes, I’ve a V4S for track. I just get a warning ⚠️ light when disconnecting the lights. Not and engine management light. I did have this until I loaded the Termignoni UpMap which cleared it.
I don’t think it’ll go limp mode on you, you should be ok.

  4. To be fair I have just fired it back up and it’s gone !! I think it must of been the air sensor .

If you don’t mind me asking what fairing are you running ?

I have CRC and I’m a bit confused with how they expect you to fix to the tank ??

  5. I’ve gone FullSix. Tank, subframe, panels the lot! Very expensive but fuggit... superb quality and fit ...

  6. I have seen there stuff it's gorgeous . I was in a mad rush as its going in a few weeks to spain!!

To be honest i am not very impressed with the CRC stuff !!

How do you find the Bike ? I have just offed my 1299S for it !! I did love that thing but it had done 5k so it was time to go for something with warranty !!!o_O

  7. The bikes brilliant. Very fast... the engine is the focal point.
I’ve got a 1098R too so it was quite a technological jump. Love both bikes, totally different but that’s to be expected
