Pantah Hydraulic Line Routing

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Multiverse, May 15, 2016.

  1. Hi, could a kind wise owner let me know how the hydraulic line on the clutch is properly routed to the handlebars. I can see two possible routes which both seem to have advantages/disadvantages.
    Many thanks in advance

  2. I suggest the following.

From the handlebar clutch master cylinder the hose runs downwards and passes to the left of the steering lock stop, then in between the two lower frame tubes and across to the right side of the electrics mounting plate near the solenoid. The hose passes from front to rear of the bike along the underside of the upper right frame tube, alongside the electric cable from the battery to the solenoid. It passes down behind the rear of the rear cylinder head close to the belt cover, goes inside the lower right frame tube, and is finally attached to the rear surface of the clutch cover (which has the slave cylinder built in). Cable ties can be used to attach the hose to the frame tubes at several points.

If there is another way of routing it, I am not sure what it might be.
