With my decision to find a new owner for my 748R, the frame and forks had to be recovered from my 853(RS) project. As I have no plans to rebuild the 853(RS), that means I have a collection of parts to sell. I am offering as 1 lot, my ex Stuart Easton, 748RS based 853cc engine including modified shower throttle bodies, 848 purple injectors, a Termignoni 54mm full race system and a bespoke EPROM for a 1.6M engine management system. The second lot, again to be sold as 1 lot includes, 916 Racing, magnesium alloy, 30mm offset triple clamps with spacer sleeves so they can be used with Ohlins or Showa forks, a European spec 748RS Super Stock, magnesium alloy swing arm that is either 17mm or 19mm longer than standard, can't remember which right now. To my knowledge, this swing arm was made for a series run in Germany, where regulations required the swing arm to use the OE mounting points so no fancy rocker arm required. The swing arm comes with, eccentric hub, RS chain sliders, RS carbon swingarm cover, RS rear caliper, RS 200mm diameter semi floating race disc and bespoke mounting plate, a rear axle modified to mount a semi floating disc and a QR sprocket mount. (maybe AFAM, maybe Renthal). If someone is looking for a project, I can also offer an early 748R frame, (unmodified) mono sub frame, 1098 Showa forks and I'm pretty sure I sqirrelled away a pair of Brembo M4 calipers. Putting a price to these lots is a challenge. If there is any interest, PM me to discuss. Looking for £4000 for the engine, TBs and exhaust and £1500 for the swing arm, triple clamps and axle/brake assembly. Andy
As suggested by my girlfriend, I have now added the prices I would like to achieve. May be a higher price than some thought, might even be a lower price than some thought, I am however open to discussing serious offers. Andy
