What is everyone’s experience on parts ordering times from Ducati. My bike when in for a gear sensor (two week lead time), turns out the loom was the problem (two week lead time) - now a month in and still waiting for parts. Clearly they’ll blame Covid but I ordered some brake pads from Italy and they turned up in about 36 hours! I thought with Audi taking over some German efficiency Would come into play. Is a two week wait normal?
Pads are common parts, wiring looms not so much. It likely needed sourcing from the manufacturer (not Ducati - whoever makes them up for them). What bike are we talking about ?
Dead annoying seeing we have been given the green light to ride at last. I do feel your pain, I had similar with other bikes in the past
