  1. Hey.. my pass light on my Ducati monster 696 13 plate isnt working all though the main and dipped lights works fine, any ideas ducati peeps?

  2. Check that your horn are brake lights are working. The pass lamp button supplies a 12v feed to the main beam output of the dip switch while it is pressed. It gets its supply from the same fuse that also supplies the horn and brake light circuits, fuse No.3 - 15A.

  3. Ill check it out cheers

  4. So on further investigation the horn works but the brake light doesn't, where do i locate the fuse

  5. C'mon man, surely you can find the fusebox. I told you which fuse in my previous reply. But, if the horn, brake lights and pass lamp are on the same fuse and the horn still works there could be a break somewhere else. I'll have a look at the diagram when I get a minute.

  6. Sorry for my ignorance Derek new to Ducati always had Japanese in the past..

  7. Sorted cheers

  8. No worries. You have to start somewhere. Interestingly I've always found the fusebox on Ducati much easier to locate that on many Japanese bikes where it is often hidden underneath fairing panels with some dismantling required to get at it.

  9. Checked fuse looks ok changed it anyway with the spare 15amp brake light works horn works but still no pass light..

  10. The connection for the pass lamp is made inside the LH switch. There is obviously 12V going to the switch because the horn works. So the most likely cause is dirty contacts inside the switch. The pass lamp is not an MoT requirement so you might prefer to leave it as it is.

  11. Well to be honest ive only had the bike a week so ive contacted the dealers and will leave it to them as its under warranty u was just checking for my pease of mind.cheers Derek

  12. Since it is under warranty that's the best thing to do. Let the dealer sort it.
