Hi folks, Selling my personalised reg plate "M7 DUK". I have paid the £80 and it is now on retention. All fees paid, just needs transferred to the nominee (whoever is buying it). Open to sensible offers, I have been advised how much this plate is worth.
Might help your sale if you were to give us a clue as to the 'worth' if that the min you'll accept or at least some idea of the region of price you will accept, despite the 'advised worth'. Just suggesting, helpful-like, cos you prob have a minimum in mind. P.s pics, as offered, of the number plate would help
Please put an asking price up or it'll just attract lots of moaning comments. And if that happens I'll just lock the thread. Oh and thread moved
Hi, Thanks for the response. I guess with these plates, it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I have had someone offer me in excess of £10,000 for it, but there could also be someone willing to offer more. I have it on Ebay at the moment with a high buy it now price, but thought I would put it on here to target Ducati owners. See link below. Personalised Number Plate "My Duk" Thanks, Stephen
Hi, Okay I will put a price of £25,000 to match Ebay and will listen to offers over £10,000. Thanks, Stephen
Good luck with the sale, it will find its true price level on the auction site. Will you come back and let us know if it makes more than your buy it now price-out of curiosity.
Sure thing I will let you know the outcome. I guess with these things it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It isn't like selling a bike as it has so many variables to determine its value, condition, mileage, rarity etc. A group of letters and numbers is much more open to interpretation I suppose.
How about people who offer items for sale MUST be subscribers? @El Toro ...think about the forums future.
