Without doubt the most useful item I’ve bought for cleaning my bikes is the pet blower, it produces a very strong blast of heated air and leaves surfaces smear free after washing, it’s also great for drying in fastener holes etc, a little common sense is required of course , ie don’t blow water into the wheel bearings etc but in general what a great tool, less than half the price of a dedicated bike blower and in many cases it’s the same item just with a different sticker, here’s an example on eBay, it’s the same as one that I’ve bought (except mine is yellow, but hey pink, get in touch with your feminine side) but they are pretty much all the same I think. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/183924896391
Yep, got myself a pet blower too. Half the price of a bike one. 2 speeds and can do hot or cold air. Good for blowing water out of discs/callipers and freaking out the neighbours cat. Very loud though so wear ear plugs
Yes particularly painful on the ear when you hit a circular recess at just the wrong angle and it whistles at around 800 decibels!
Wouldn't be without one now. The amount of water they get out of your radiator (not the inside of it, before you start @Exige ) is incredible.
I used to get the ex wife to lick the bike dry, she was rubbish at it but it saved me a fortune on my porn hub subscription
