Hi Folks, Removing the tank from my 2002 748S USA spec. The fuel pipes are not the quick release type, and the manual I have is unclear whether to remove the flexible pipes from the banjo union steel pipes, or remove the banjo unions?. There's still a bit of fuel in the tank, is it going to leak out when the pipes, and or banjo unions are removed?. Thanks, Alan.
Like me, a lot of guys convert to quick release. It's really tricky unscrewing the clamps, especially when there's a bit of fuel in the tank. Don't worry, it won't leak much, release the hose from the steel pipes on the fuel pump unit.
