We have a new member of the family. After we lost our Springer in the summer, Daisy our JRT seemed to lose a bit of her mojo, understandable as it's the first time in her life she hasn't had another dog for company. Anyway, we decided to go down the rescue route, and yesterday we went to visit Dotty ( I know...... ) who eventually came home with us. She's 6.5 kg of possibly miniature pinscher, or ratonero, or ..... but she's about 12 months old and a very gentle soul who was picked up off the streets, sent to a dog pound ( not particularly good over here ) before she was seen by a local rescue and taken on to be rehomed.
