1200 Pikes Peak Rear Footpeg Hanger Question

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Daffy, Apr 15, 2014.

  1. It might seem like an odd question but can anyone tell me what the plastic part screwed to the left hand foot peg hanger is, I mean the part on the rear most strut about 3/4 of the way up it, close to the electrical accessory socket?

Its shown in the photos below along with a gratuitous shot of my latest love!

  4. Yup, and you don't have a center stand so you don't have the leaver, instead you have an Abba stand ;)

  5. Never noticed it, I bought the Ducati paddock stand at least 3 months ago and it's still in the box !

  6. Thanks to all who posted above, I wondered if it was something to do with the power connector but the stand thing makes sense.

I never bothered with the centre stand so went for the Abba stand in the end, its just right for the garage, really stable and easy to use.

  7. As a side question does anyone know what size the bolt is for the lifting handle as mine has pitted slightly and would like to replace with stainless / better bolt

  8. You mean the bolt in the bar riser? M10 with a 1.25 pitch it's a fine thread. I don't know how long it will be though all I know is I got some 70mm long for my bike.

  9. Thanks mate. May just whizz it off and take it to local fasteners place and get decent replacement
