Pin Code

  1. Hi all. Is it correct that I will need the previous pin code to change it on a 2015 dvt multistrada. I didn't need the previous pin code on my 2013 to change it. Cheers gary.

  2. If someone has entered there own code in already ( a previous owner )yes you will need that code to be able to change it to your own code

  3. You should just need the default PIN. The dealer will tell you what it is as they usually change it on PDI. Mine was 0000 and that's usually the best first guess, followed by 1234 and then last 4 of VIN.

  4. Can I use the default code even if a previous owner has put a new pin code in it Cheers Gary

  5. No, dealer should have reset it before selling it on. If not, get the to hook it up to a laptop and reset it.

  7. Cheers for that. The bike doesn't actually belong to me, its my mates. It looks like a dealer is the only way to resolve it. Thanks again for the help. Gary
