Hi Guys. I'm having problems with my 1199 she suddenly stopped engaging 1,2,3 during a breakfast run last week. All was fine never had any problem with shifting before. Quick shifter was working fine and no warning lights came on. After a few miles riding on 5,6 gear because she would't change down I stopped and restarted the bike. Now she only engaged 1, 2 gear. No abnormal noises no cluttering, the clutch works fine the quick shift seem to still work from 1 to 2 gear. However the paddle has lots of play between almost like it is loose, also finding neutral is quite a mission. Checked if the paddle screw was properly tightened to the gear shaft and all seems ok. Does anyone have an idea ? Has anyone experienced similar problems? Help!!
Not sure if it's the same problem but I've had to bleed the clutch a few times as it gets air in the system over a period of time. Bleed nipple by the shifter.
N O. Clutch works fine. Goes into firts and second , rest of the gears wont engage. The gear lever has a lot of play more than usual . Checked and it is properly fastened to the shaft. Seems to pe internal problem. Any more Ideas?
