  3. I think he will go down. Whether his fame and previous achievements will cloud the judges thinking remains to be seen.

  4. As far as I understand it he can't possibly get off - and culpable homicide (manslaughter) sounds like the very least he can expect... If it was all a hideous error of judgement then it's still massively negligent and irresponsible behaviour and I whilst can feel sorry for him, he has to face the consequences. It is a really bizarre story!

  5. According to TV there is little chance of him walking free even if not finding him guilty as they've slapped him with "discharging a fire arm unlawfully" so as they get him on something. If found guilty of this offence alone he'll get 5/10 years just for that.

    There's a total of about 15 charges he can be found guilty of.

  8. I'm sat in kwikfit now so cant see the verdict delivery, but watched the first bit and its interesting how the judge is reviewing her thoughts, what was deemed relevant and not, and why, and building up. Leaves no avenue for 'what was the judge thinking'

  14. Did anyone catch his earlier evidence where he claimed that she had died from VD?


    When cross examined the prosecution said that in this day and age you can't die of VD; to which Pistorious replied,
    "You fucking do if you give it to me!"

  19. I can see where this is going. As we already know NG on premeditated if she would have found him guilty then good chance of getting that overturned on appeal. She finds him guilty of culpable homicide which I think is more realistic and guilty on the other charges and give him max sentences.

    If not then it really is taking the Pistorius
