Plastic Parts

Discussion in 'Detailing and cleaning' started by manxxl, Oct 5, 2019.

  1. What's a decent product to make the black plastic parts on the multistrada look good again, mine seems to have got white stuff like polish or it could be the silicone spray I wipe over them.

  2. A non wax furniture polish such as Pledge is great for cleaning and a good finish to plastics ;-)
For longer term finish and protection I've used Armor All for donkey's years...choice of original, gloss, Matt etc.

More recently I've started using 303 Aerospace Protectant as well / instead after recommendations.....cant find the manufacturers website, just Google...

  5. it's a controversial one as a lot of cleaning and "preserving" sprays permeate plastic and so will end up "in it" rather than "on it". If the change isn't detrimental to surface appearance then I guess it's all good. :upyeah:

  6. Okkidoki.....wipe down first all plastic parts with IPA alcohol ( This will promote adhesion )....then for the recolour back to factory fresh use Solution Finish....this stuff is AMAZING...no other and I mean no other product available comes close...

  7. Gtechniq C4..... you will need to clean all the old products off the plastic first then apply a few drops on an application pad... you cant go wrong with Gtechniq....
