Reading your reply from Ducati UK , it looks like Huntingdon Motorcycles are using a third party to supply your bike. Your gripe is with Huntingdon. Steve
Use an authorised dealer and pay full price and get a good service or a non authorised and maybe save a pound or two and get iffy service and no idea what yiu are buying (Euro import?!) I bought mine from Snells. Bike full price, reasonable px, bit off the extras, ordered June for deligery earliest mid Aug. couldn't be happier to wait or pay the premium
You won't get much discount from anywhere,authorised or not,and if not authorised,they would have had to get it through an authorised dealer,so no margin left to cut! Very little made on these bikes by the dealers.
Not sure they are bad until resell time. Not offcially impored = walk away in my book. Right or wrong, I am not alone in that
