Podcasts - Post Your Recommendations

  1. I don't know about you lot but I love a good podcast so thought I'd start this thread for any recommendations.

If you've not tried a podcast before, give them a go. I love walking the kids to school a couple of times a week and sticking one on for the 20 minute walk home. Or having one on in the garage as I tinker. I find that rather than thinking about them as listening to a book or some music they have their own genre of listening pleasure. There are an awful lot of poor ones out there but some real gems within the haystack.

Friday night comedy - radio 4. Either the News Quiz, The Now Show or Dead Ringer.....personally I prefer the News quiz.

Front End Chatter - Bike related with Martin Fitz-Gibbons and Simon Hargreaves....both of whos stuff I like reading. Covering everything from racing to new bike launches and very funny in places.

Adam and Joe - old but gold. My kind of humour and great to be a part of their conversation

Adam Buxton Podcast - Following Joes departure to Hollywood, Adam has started doing his own. Not many of them but it's interesting and slightly sad to hear his career progression as a single rather than double act.

What do you listen to....any recommendations and what do you think of the above?

  4. I find the great thing about podcasts is you can do other stuff whilst listening. You never have to stop....just stick another one on :grinning:

  5. I’ve not come across any bike ones before so i'll definitely have a nosey at yours when I get in later. :thumbsup:The only other ones I’ve ever really taken the time to listen to are LFC related and I always find reading others opinions on something so personal a bit of a grind.

  6. FEC (front end chatter) is very enjoyable. I started listening at about episode 30 and they have got better and better as they have got into the swing of things. Nice and regular too which is always a plus (both personally and for podcasts)
