Hi all. Just going through some of potential bikes up for sale locally as I'm selling the 848. This one is located just down the road from me and will take mine in part ex. Aesthetically, it's not too bad. Paintwork seems good and externally seems more or less ok. A couple of fasteners missing but not much. Has 14,700 ish miles on the clock. Just wondering from the photos if it would be worth investigating further. Haven't heard it running yet and is due a major service which I'll get done over winter. Does anything bad stand out? Thanks for looking, Ian I'm going on holiday tomorrow and doubt I'll get much riding time in before winter as I'll be mega busy at work when I get back. So, would it be worth waiting on for something better to come along? I'm in no rush.

I got off lightly but she was a bit battered, nowt bad. She was in dewsbury hospital for a week or so and wasn't too impressed when I sat down on her bed going through the auto trader looking for the next bike! :Banghead:
Ha yeah she'll be fine good job she did all the housework & gardening yesterday cos she won't be able to use her shoulder for a week or so , probably still manage to give me a crack though if she finds out I've stopped to look at a bike :Blackeye:

Looks cosher although rider's seat pad and carbon chain guard/brake runner are not original equipment. I see it still has what looks like the original rear sprocket so it would be advisable to check that it is all tight and hasn't started to wear the eccentric hub. I'll probably be shouted down but I'd go through the service record, low mileage examples don't always get what the service book says should be done but then I'm anal about it. Shouln't be an issue but I'd factor in the costs of a valve inspection when negotiating on the price. Andy
Thanks to @Tobytyke for coming to have a scan at the bike. All seams good. Problem is I couldn't leave a deposit as they only hold bikes for 1 week. I'll buy it if it's still there after my hols.
