Ive just fittted 45mm Termi slipons to the 998. Ive got the 45mm slip-on ECU to fit.. and then been hearing about TPS resets and other tweaks needed to complete the transformation. Is it possible to talk me through the gear required (what software - cables I need) and step-by-step instructions to change out the ECU, and then reset the TPS (or whatever else needs tweaks)? When I fitted Termi's to my 998 I just changed out the ECU and left it at that. I later fitted a Power commander and had it dynoed but the Power commander proved to be a bit of a waste of time as it failed so I reverted back to just using the ECU that came with the pipes. I have had no problems though. I doubt you need to reset the TPS but you may find benefit in having the bike fully set up by CJS as they will get it running right and insert a custom map into the ECU.
