Hi Guys, Just want to check what base functionality if any at all would be lost by having a Power Commander installed on the 1199s? Would the installation remove the base power options of "Riding Modes" Race/Sport/Wet from the bike itself and require me to run two different maps from the Power Commander unit that would require selection from a new switch? Power commanders change nothing on the original maps. They are just parasitic piggyback devices that intercept the signal to say fuel/ignition devices send it to your power commander which then changes the settings to which you have on your commander and then back to the original destination. So whatever you set the commander to will impact all 3 standard maps as there is no way of the standard Ecu knowing that the parasite is at work. They are old hat now and you’d be better off with a remap
