so can somebody clear this up for me please...... Do Givi boxes (vr47 for example) fit the genuine multistrada 1200 rack? If so do they just slide on the rear hooks as per the Ducati (givi made) box and lock down at the front? Would this then be true for any 1200 between 2010-2015 as they use the same mounting mechanism don't they? Or do you have to get the Givi rack, the one with support bars I presume? I'll be buggered if I'm paying Ducati £400 for a top box made by Givi, no bigger than Givi, and all just to keep the Mrs happy on the back I reckon the vr47 is roughly the same size and shape isn't it? Honestly it depresses me just thinking about it
All Givi Monokey boxes will fit the Ducati baseplate, as the Ducati box is a Givi Monokey box re-branded. I use a SW Motech base plate, with the Monokey adaptor for the big Ducati box, or the Monolock adaptor for my B37 Blade, with brake lights, smaller everyday box. Jon.
