  3. The latter. If it comes from Greek, a word ending with 'e' has an 'ee' sound. e.g. indices is indicees (multiple indexes).

    The one that really pisses me off is when Americans say process-ees. Process isn't from Greek so it's process-es.

  4. Met an Iranian a few years back, his complaint was how his birth country’s name was pronounced by some Brits.

  20. I did and where the pronounce Bath as it’s spelt, no r as in Barth, not far from Stoke on Trent where hook, cook and book each have four ‘o’s
