just had to buy some and I thought they weren't too expensive. Never bought them without the man to fit them.
749RS : ) Was wondering how much standard belts were - say a 749R. I did ask if the price was for one, then asked for a discount when he said 'no, that's for two' - wrong way round!
Is this just a ficticious story jerry a) the bike doesnt exist and b) you are going to fit these belts? 3 2 1 and back in the room...............
ok, 749R F06. Does taht do it for you Andy? Not customer RS, but Factory : ) And no, I'm not going to fit them myself.
[h=5]give nogaromill999 a pm as he sells them at a very good price as he got me a set for my 999s[/h]
749R belts are £56.70 each + VAT. The 999RS belts are about £80 or so a piece plus the VAT. Don't have the file on the "RS" supersport kit parts to hand but I have a feeling that they were running the OEM R belts.
Thanks Nelly. The kit R motors run the R belts, but the race bikes - jhp and WSS - use wide belts. 'Some' of the 999rs belts fit and jhp have some of those. TBH, 200% of the price of road belts is significant but bearable.
yes, it was built at the factory Andy... I have all the provenance showing that it is an '06 bike, bought from Ducati Corse by Carrachi, raced by Nannelli and Stuart Easton. The motors have correct factory markings and the frame has the normal VIN number proudly on the headstock. Pop over next week and you can see the thing in front of you. ...and yes, Toine is doing the motor. I had him give the motor the once over when it was in transit from Italy.
