V4 Puncture Repair Kit

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Eugen, Mar 14, 2023.

  1. Had to unpack the puncture repair kit (that lives in a zipped pouch under the pillion pad) the other day. For the life of me, I can't seem to get all the gubbins back into the pouch as neatly as it came out. I'm clearly spatially challenged (I'm crap at Tetris...). If anyone with a new or unmolested puncture repair kit could share a few photos of his it all goes in neatly I'd be really grateful!

  2. The OEM puncture kit I assume, rather than a branded good one.

  3. Yes, the OEM one. Looked at others but need to sort the Ducati one out first!

  4. All fits back in , then you have the broken zip , issue .

  5. That sounds very OCD.

  6. Maybe. Although it’s more about getting every to fit in so the pillion pad latches and there’s less strain on the zip of the pouch. Not to worry, though. Have worked something out. Thanks for all the help.

  7. I cut the bottom out of the pillion seat so I could get all the tools, ratchet strap, wheel socket, compressor and puncture kit under the seat.
I only ride solo so no problems for me.

  8. There’s a company that makes a small box that replaces the pillion seat on the GS/ GSA. I can’t remember their name, but it would be handy if they did one for our bikes.
