Purolator Oil Filters

  1. Guy's I am led to believe that the Purolator oil filters available in the US are highly regarded and I have decided to try one on my Desmo but has as yet not been able to find the fitment on any of the charts I've looked at. Is there anyone fitted one to there Desmo that can tell me which one fits.

  2. I know the name Purolator , but nothing more .

    I buy Hi-Flo filters , from Wemoto .
    Recommended replacement filters for Harleys ..... they might even be OEM ?

    Folks who need to have " Ducati " painted on the tin always have the option of buying the " official " version ..... for approximately double the price .

    Just my two chetrums worth :)

  4. Equivalent to a Mahle OC-5 (OEM) or K&N KN-153 and is fitted to a great deal of Ducati engines looks like Purolator ML16829C, but best check with the manufacturer

  5. back in the sixties Purolator was the leading filter along with Crosland.

  7. It was confirmed by Purolator that the filter required is indeed the ML16829C
